Korea science ministry to build physical AI training centre next year

South Korea will build a dedicated physical AI training centre from next year and run pilot projects at post office sites to foster the domestic AI industry. The Ministry of Science and ICT discussed policy directions and support measures for the physical AI sector with industry, academia and research experts in Seoul. The ministry plans to strengthen competitiveness, secure core technologies and build a domestic physical AI full-stack system.
