Sh Suhyup Bank signs non-face-to-face guaranteed loan deal with KODIT, to introduce Easy-One next year
Sh Suhyup Bank is working with the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund to 추진 a non-face-to-face guaranteed loan service for sole proprietors and small merchants. The bank said on Tuesday it signed an agreement on non-face-to-face and digital finance activation with the fund. It plans to link the fund’s non-face-to-face guarantee system to its Partner Bank mobile app and introduce the Easy-One guarantee product in the first half of next year.

Crypto exchanges\' bank ties to continue, Coinone and Bithumb seen renewing deals
Coinone and KakaoBank are in talks to extend their partnership for won deposit and withdrawal accounts by another year, with the current contract due to expire in mid-August. KakaoBank is said to have completed an on-site review of Coinone’s anti-money laundering system in May. KB Kookmin Bank is also reported to be strongly considering a 1-year extension of its tie-up with Bithumb ahead of an end-of-contract date in late September.

Korea FX market goes 24 hours, putting brokerage risk management to test
South Korea’s onshore won-dollar foreign exchange market shifts to 24-hour trading from July 6, allowing exchange rates to adjust overnight to global events and U.S. data. Authorities and the Bank of Korea expect better access for foreign investors as won funding and FX become available in New York and London hours. Brokerages face demands for overnight currency conversion, tighter foreign-currency position management and stronger dealing, systems and staffing.
