Codegate 2026 to open July 23 with human vs AI hacking showdown in focus
The Codegate Security Forum will hold Codegate 2026, an international hacking defence contest and global conference, on July 23-24 at COEX Grand Ballroom in Seoul. The event’s theme is “The Path Toward a Top 3 Global AI Power: Security”. A jointly developed “AI hacker” with KAIST will compete in the finals alongside human white hackers. The finals draw 3,333 participants from 88 countries, with total prize money of 71 million won.

Naver opens special page for 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics
Naver opened a special page for the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics, it said on Thursday. During the Olympics, which begin on Feb. 6, it plans to livestream all events on Naver Sports and its streaming platform Chzzk. Chzzk will offer a watch-together feature and preview and review content. Naver will also provide short-form videos, add community spaces and introduce an AI briefing feature for results and issues.

Naver launches \'Lounge\' trend community without sign-up
Naver launched a new content media platform called Lounge on Jan. 28, allowing users to communicate lightly about various topics and view the latest trends at a glance. The open community links each topic board to Open Talk, enabling posts, comments and real-time chat. It will later connect to a Naver Sports Winter Olympics page and strengthen links with services such as integrated search and Knowledge iN.
