GM to add AI assistant to 2027 Cadillac models
General Motors will introduce an in-vehicle AI voice assistant called the OnStar AI Assistant. GM said it will first apply the feature to the 2027 Cadillac Lyriq electric vehicle and later expand it to other models, with delivery via over-the-air software updates in the coming months. The assistant supports natural-language vehicle control and EV charging-route planning, while OnStar advisors handle cases needing human help. GM also plans a new OnStar mobile app and added remote security features.
