Polymarket files for U.S. margin trading, seeks futures broker registration

Polymarket has submitted an application to provide margin trading in the United States. If approved, users would be able to bet on events with less capital than usual. The Block, citing the National Futures Association’s BASIC system, reported that ComingHome GBA sought approval related to futures commission merchant registration through PM Derivatives. Full rollout of leveraged trading would also require approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

U.S. ETF issuer Volatility Shares expands altcoin leveraged ETF lineup

U.S. exchange-traded fund issuer Volatility Shares has listed six ETFs based on Cardano, Stellar and Chainlink on Cboe’s BZX Exchange. The lineup includes a 1x ETF that tracks spot returns and a 2x ETF targeting twice the daily return, with separate tickers for each asset. Data show the firm manages more than $3 billion in assets as of March 30, including about $960 million in its BITX leveraged bitcoin futures ETF.
