NHN posts record quarterly revenue, operating profit in Q2 on growth in games, payments and technology
NHN said on Monday its second-quarter revenue rose 25.3 percent from a year earlier to 757.9 billion won and operating profit jumped 164.1 percent to 57.9 billion won, both record quarterly highs. Games revenue rose to 139.6 billion won, supported by web board games and higher mobile game sales in Japan. Payments revenue climbed to 394.0 billion won, while technology revenue rose to 159.8 billion won on GPU business expansion.

NHN Q1 operating profit falls 5 percent on ahead-of-curve AI infrastructure investment
NHN said its first-quarter operating profit fell 5 percent from a year earlier as it reflected costs for upfront investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure, including building AI GPU infrastructure. The company posted a 11.9 percent rise in quarterly sales to 671.4 billion won and operating profit of 26.3 billion won. Revenue rose across payments, games and technology, while NHN also announced a 16.7 billion won share buyback to be fully cancelled.

NHN Cloud showcases AX capabilities at Japan IT Week
NHN Cloud promoted its cloud infrastructure competitiveness in Japan at the 2026 Japan IT Week exhibition in Tokyo, the company said. It highlighted its Tokyo region, in operation since 2019, and its integrated support spanning infrastructure design to operations. The company also presented GPU-based AI infrastructure services and industry use cases. Partner Innogrid joined to share AI infrastructure operations and optimization measures. NHN Cloud also outlined cooperation with local unit NHN Techorus to supply Japan-optimized AX solutions.
