MoonPay has begun supporting crypto purchase procedures inside ChatGPT, and Coinbase’s Base ecosystem is building tools that allow AI chatbots to handle wallets and blockchain applications. The shift could move the main user touchpoint away from exchanges and wallet apps to conversational AI, while raising trust and security risks such as prompt injection, malicious plugins and more convincing scams.

Security must be close to data, Snowflake role set to grow
Snowflake Chief Security and Trust Officer Mayank Upadhyay said security must be built into the data platform and become part of normal workflows. He said Snowflake is approaching AI security in three layers: protecting large language models, managing agent identity and permissions, and securing the data layer. He highlighted the Horizon Guardrails product and the Natoma acquisition, and stressed fast feedback loops, data sovereignty and zero data retention.
