Boltz suspends service as AI-driven hacking attempts spread

Non-custodial Bitcoin swap service Boltz has suspended its service until further notice after an increase in AI-based hacking attempts in recent months. Cointelegraph reported that Boltz said automated AI reconnaissance targeting its infrastructure has steadily risen this year. Boltz said it decided not to resume Boltz Swap after reviewing recent security check results, citing active targeting by multiple groups and limits of its small development team.
