Blockchain.com says \'crypto spring\' has arrived as institutions dominate market and options trading expands
Blockchain.com has launched options trading, and its co-CEO Lane Kasselman (레인 카셀먼) said the cryptocurrency market has entered an institution-led \"crypto spring\" phase. He pointed to shifting U.S. political and regulatory conditions ahead of midterm elections and growing bipartisan support for digital assets. He also cited ongoing rulemaking by the SEC and CFTC, state money-transmitter licensing as a hurdle, and differing wallet preferences by country. He also discussed tokenisation and potential AI-agent payments in stablecoins or bitcoin.
