LG Electronics holds second Battery Turn campaign, collects 156 tons of used batteries
LG Electronics will hold its second Battery Turn campaign this year, collecting used cordless vacuum cleaner batteries through Nov. 30 at service centers nationwide. Customers can return batteries regardless of manufacturer, or take part remotely via LGE.COM. Since the campaign began in 2022, the company has collected about 156 tons, exceeding 340,000 batteries, and recovered more than 13 tons of rare metals. LG Electronics also donated 15 cordless vacuums to an childcare welfare facility using campaign funds.

LG Electronics launches \'Battery Turn\' campaign to collect used vacuum batteries
LG Electronics said on May 18 it will run its \'Battery Turn\' resource-circulation campaign to collect used vacuum cleaner batteries and recycle them into rare metals. The campaign, backed by the Ministry of Climate, Environment and Energy and run with the Korea Environment Corporation and E-Circular Governance, has continued annually since 2022. Customers who return used batteries receive discounts on new battery purchases, with higher discounts offered this year.

LG Electronics launches major Lunar New Year sales campaign
LG Electronics is holding a Lunar New Year sales campaign online and offline. It will run an “LGE닷” promotion at its official online brand shop from Feb. 2 to Feb. 18, offering members coupon packs with discounts of up to 500,000 won. It will sell popular appliances at discounts of up to 57 percent and provide membership points and prize draws. Best Shop stores will run a separate promotion from Feb. 6 to Feb. 18.
