LG Electronics will run online and offline promotions for the Lunar New Year holiday. LG Electronics said on Feb. 2 it will hold an “LGE닷” promotion at its official online brand shop from Feb. 2 to Feb. 18. LGE닷 is a major sales event at LG Electronics’ official online shop and is held regularly three times a year.

The event will offer members a Lunar New Year coupon pack. Depending on the odds, customers can receive discount coupons worth up to 500,000 won. The coupon pack can be issued on the event page after logging in to the online brand shop.

During the event period, popular home appliances will be sold at discounts of up to 57 percent. Customers who subscribe to special-price products will receive up to 500,000 LG Electronics membership points that can be used to offset monthly subscription fees. Customers who enter the event after completing a subscription contract will receive department store gift certificates through a draw.

The campaign will also run discount events for furniture and household goods. Customers can buy furniture brands such as Casamia, Alozo and iloom, as well as kitchen and household goods, at discounts of up to 66 percent. If customers buy appliances together with home-style products, appliances will receive an additional 3 percent discount and furniture and lighting will receive up to an additional 10 percent discount.

At 461 Best Shop stores nationwide, LG Electronics will hold a “Lunar New Year Gift Sale” from Feb. 6 to Feb. 18. Customers who purchase or subscribe to two or more product categories will receive multi-item benefits including cashback of up to 7.5 million won. LG Electronics will provide membership points and gifts depending on the purchase amount. Home-appliance subscription customers will receive a Pulio massager as a special gift depending on the contract amount.

During the event period, customers who share a “Lunar New Year Gift Sale word-of-mouth event” run on the membership app or the Best Shop website via social media or KakaoTalk will be entered in a draw of 1,000 winners. Prizes include a 50,000 won Baedal Minjok mobile gift certificate and GS25 gift certificates worth 5,000 won and 3,000 won. From Feb. 9 to Feb. 13, a yutnori game offering kitchenware prizes will be held on the Best Shop website.

The LG Electronics membership app and the Best Shop website will offer a coupon pack with discount and point-accumulation benefits worth up to 1.15 million won for purchases or subscriptions of 16 categories of home appliances. The coupon pack can be requested until Feb. 18. It can be used at Best Shop stores until the end of this month.
