Shinsung E&G switches Kimje plant to mass production of high-output solar modules
Shinsung E&G said on Monday it held a launch event for a new production line at its Kimje plant in North Jeolla and formalised a shift to mass production of high-output solar modules through line upgrades. The company said the move follows its May strategy to overhaul its solar business portfolio around high output, high efficiency and low carbon. It described the upgrade as a qualitative transformation rather than a simple expansion.
