Lambda256 upgrades CLAIR FDS/AML solution for financial institutions
Lambda256 said on Tuesday it upgraded its on-chain FDS/AML solution, CLAIR, into an integrated workflow supporting financial institutions\' anti-money laundering operations. It said the platform integrates on-chain transaction monitoring, STR analysis, KYT, a travel rule solution and on-chain data with internal institution data. The company said the system uses ontology-based knowledge graph technology and W3C standards, and provides domestic unlicensed exchange label data and rule-setting tools.

Shinhan Bank builds first on-chain monitoring system to prevent money laundering
Shinhan Bank said on May 7 it will build the banking industry’s first on-chain monitoring system by adopting blockchain compliance firm BonanzaFactory’s KYT (Know Your Transaction) solution, TranSight. The tool analyzes blockchain transaction data and wallet addresses to detect risk signals of financial crimes such as money laundering and voice phishing. Shinhan plans to analyze wallet risk, including for stablecoins, and link the results with its systems for anti-money laundering work.

Ethereum layer-2 network Polygon has launched a private stablecoin payment feature aimed at attracting corporate and institutional on-chain payments, Cointelegraph reported on Monday. The feature lets users process transactions through a shielded pool verified with zero-knowledge proofs, keeping transaction details hidden from outside view. Built on the Hinkal privacy protocol, it hides sender, recipient and amount while enabling regulatory compliance through KYT screening and audit files.
