KT tests UAM on Incheon islands, verifies 5G and satellite network stability

KT tested AI-based urban air mobility (UAM) traffic management technology and the operability of 5G and satellite communications networks in island areas of Incheon, it said. KT said it completed a public UAM demonstration with Incheon city, the Aerospace Industry-Academia Convergence Institute and the K-UAM One Team. The test applied integrated operations capabilities to routes linking Yeongjongdo and Deokjeokdo and checked data-sharing systems among related agencies.

LG Uplus holds memorial run to honour fallen firefighters

LG Uplus said on Oct. 18 that its running event held with the National Fire Agency, the U+119 Memorial Run 2026, ended successfully. The event on Oct. 17 in areas including Sejong Central Park and the National Sejong Arboretum was held to honour firefighters who died in the line of duty and to support bereaved families. A total of 2,000 people took part, with entry fees used to support families of fallen firefighters.
