Kakao holds online safety forum for children and teens, strengthens always-on hotline cooperation
Kakao is expanding a digital safety net by working with civic groups to reflect online sexual exploitation risks affecting children and teenagers in its service policies and to strengthen links to victim support. The company held a children and youth online safety forum at its Jeju office on Sept. 15. Participants shared outcomes from regular consultations and an always-on hotline, discussed strengthening protections, and issued a joint declaration to expand cooperation among government, business and civil society.
