Samsung Electronics to adopt Oracle Java for global semiconductor development
Oracle said on May 12 that Samsung Electronics will adopt Oracle Java SE Universal Subscription to standardise software development. Oracle said Samsung will integrate its companywide application development environment with Oracle Java to simplify IT operations and strengthen security. Samsung’s AI Center vice president Lee Geun-ho said the move will provide a secure, reliable and standardised development environment and help minimise operational risk.
