Instagram launches Instants real-time photo sharing app
Meta has added a real-time photo sharing feature called Instants to Instagram and has also released it as a standalone app in some countries. The feature focuses on quickly sending photos from the moment without filters or edits, with images disappearing after being viewed. Instants is linked to Instagram’s inbox and opens through the separate app. Photos can be viewed once, cannot be replayed and expire after 24 hours, with screenshots and screen recording blocked.
