HYBE Japan creates J-pop chief producer role, appoints Mich Iijima
HYBE’s Japan headquarters, HYBE Japan, has recruited a local expert to discover and develop intellectual property tailored to the Japanese market. The company created a new J-pop chief producer role and appointed Mich Iijima. Iijima previously handled long-term management and producing for SMAP and participated in planning various content including the film \"Midnight Swan\". HYBE Japan said the hire is part of HYBE 2.0.

HYBE has published a regular report detailing key environmental, social and governance achievements it pursued last year, including protecting artists\' rights, improving fan experience and managing safety and health. The company released its 2025 Sustainability Management Report on its official website on June 30. It named four major issues: a healthy and flexible workplace, better customer experience, information security and personal data protection, and ethical management and compliance.
