Gomining launches bitcoin payment service
Bitcoin mining company Gomining has launched GoBTC Pay, a service designed to help businesses accept bitcoin payments more easily. CoinDesk reported the move puts Gomining in competition with Block unit Square. Gomining says transactions are handled entirely in bitcoin, unlike rivals that settle merchants in fiat currency. Gomining merchants wanting fiat must cash out themselves. The service settles on the bitcoin network in about 12 hours and charges a 0.2 percent fee.
