Aracore joins Paxos Global Dollar Network
Aracore, the U.S. subsidiary of blockchain and AI company BPMG, said on Sept. 18 it has joined the Paxos-led Global Dollar Network as a partner. The company plans to build institutional digital finance infrastructure based on multiple stablecoins, including USDG. It will link stablecoins with institutional financial networks using its Institutional Settlement Network and expand cross-border remittance, payment and settlement services through partnerships with K Bank, HashKey and VirgoPAY.

Only 3 of top 50 stablecoins meet EU MiCA rules, Circle executive says
Only three of the world’s top 50 stablecoins by market capitalisation meet the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) rules, Patrick Hansen of Circle said. The compliant tokens are USDC, USDG and EURC. Hansen said 21 issuers in the EU have already launched about 35 e-money tokens, but only those three satisfy MiCA among the global top 50. He called for stronger competitiveness and global regulatory coordination in MiCA’s review.

Circle shaken by OpenUSD debut as Wall Street says selloff overdone
Circle shares fell sharply on worries that a new stablecoin, OpenUSD, could intensify competition, but Wall Street said the selloff looked overdone. ClearStreet said OpenUSD has partners comparable to major stablecoins but has yet to show evidence of meaningful adoption. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire highlighted USDC\'s scale and said OpenUSD would not have that base at launch. USDC ranks second among stablecoins by market value.
