Microsoft Build to be held in San Francisco in June, with smaller, more developer-focused format
Microsoft will move its annual Build developer conference venue from Seattle to San Francisco and reduce its scale. The event will be held at Fort Mason on June 2-3 local time, with attendance cut to 2,500 from the previous 3,000 to 5,000 range, and it will shift from May to June. GitHub COO Kyle Daigle said the company wants a structure that supports keynotes, hands-on demos and more interaction. Microsoft also plans more outside speakers.
