Florida weighs aerial highway network for flying cars after leaving EV charging funds unused
Florida is reviewing an “Aerial Highway Network” that would include hubs where flying cars could charge and take off and land, while leaving unused $197 million in federal subsidies allocated to expand charging for electric cars and trucks. The debate has focused on whether to prioritise current charging infrastructure or future transport with limited commercialisation. Tesla also drew criticism after showcasing a Roadster demonstration evoking levitation rather than providing details on production plans.
