Finders AI, Samsung Welstory team up on AI self-checkout for unmanned meal payments
Finders AI said on Jan. 13 it is working with Samsung Welstory to deploy an AI self-checkout system, Vision Check-Out, in Samsung Welstory’s unmanned payment system for ready-to-eat meals. Cameras scan items placed on a scanner and AI analyzes them in 1 to 2 seconds. Payment is completed within seconds when a card or other method is tagged. The companies plan to keep improving recognition rates and UX using operating data.
