Sui developer Mysten Labs CTO joins Anthropic, shifting to AI security
Sam Blackshear, co-founder and former chief technology officer of Sui blockchain developer Mysten Labs, is leaving to join Anthropic. He said he is stepping down to take on defensive security research. Mysten Labs co-founder and CEO Evan Cheng will take charge of the company’s technology vision. Blackshear said he will not fully disengage from Mysten Labs and plans to remain a close adviser and stay involved in the Sui ecosystem and Move Foundation activities.
