Lost bitcoin found after 12 years as 500 BTC move in mystery
Part of 6,000 bitcoin held by investor Clifton Collins in 2011 moved after 12 years, drawing attention. Cryptopolitan reported that his wallet had long been inaccessible and keys were believed lost after his 2017 arrest. Arkham Intelligence detected 500 bitcoin moving to a new address, now worth $35.5 million. The coins moved to a Coinbase Custody address used to safeguard seized assets, while other linked addresses hold bitcoin worth $426 million.
