Aptos launches encrypted mempool feature on mainnet
Layer 1 blockchain Aptos has officially launched an Encrypted Mempool feature on its mainnet. The feature lets users selectively encrypt, on a per-transaction basis, the called functions and parameters of pending transactions. Validators set and finalize block ordering, then jointly decrypt and execute the transactions. Aptos said the change reduces the risk of front-running and maximum extractable value attacks. Sender addresses and gas fees remain public.
