SK Shieldus\' Kim Byeong-hyeon wins Judgement Day AI red team hacking competition
SK Shieldus said on Sunday that Kim Byeong-hyeon, a senior researcher in its EQST white-hat hacker group, won first place at the global AI red team hacking competition Judgement Day. The company said the event evaluated attack techniques designed to induce AI agents to perform prohibited actions or omit required safety measures. The contest used eight scenarios reflecting industrial environments, and scoring considered problem-solving approaches, strategy diversity and speed.

SK Shieldus runs generative AI security training program for practitioners
SK Shieldus said on May 11 it will run a training program for security practitioners at South Korean companies as security threats rise with the spread of generative AI. The company said the hands-on program focuses on improving on-the-job efficiency by automating repetitive and large-scale security data using AI. The course covers security data processing, vulnerability diagnosis and analysis, and incident detection and response.

SK Shieldus white-hacker Lee Dong-ju wins Dreamhack Invitational 2026
SK Shieldus said on Thursday that Lee Dong-ju, a senior researcher in its white-hacker group EQST, won first place at the Dreamhack Invitational 2026 held at COEX in Seoul. The hacking defence contest was an official programme of the .HACK Conference 2026. The competition used a Capture The Flag format across areas including web security, system exploitation, reversing, cryptography and Web3. Lee scored 2,225 points to finish first.
