SK Shieldus white-hacker Lee Dong-ju wins Dreamhack Invitational 2026
SK Shieldus said on Thursday that Lee Dong-ju, a senior researcher in its white-hacker group EQST, won first place at the Dreamhack Invitational 2026 held at COEX in Seoul. The hacking defence contest was an official programme of the .HACK Conference 2026. The competition used a Capture The Flag format across areas including web security, system exploitation, reversing, cryptography and Web3. Lee scored 2,225 points to finish first.

SK Shieldus wraps up in-house hacking competition \'Hack the Real\'
SK Shieldus said on Wednesday it has wrapped up its in-house hacking competition, \'Hack the Real\', for employees. The event was planned and run by its white-hat hacker group EQST and focused on practical skills required of penetration testing consultants. It included tasks reflecting real security issues, such as analysing recent incidents and assessing vulnerabilities in AI and LLM services. About 300 employees took part, with 18 missions across seven fields.

SK Shieldus reports EV charger security flaw at Pwn2Own Automotive 2026
SK Shieldus said on Jan. 26 it participated in the global security hacking conference Pwn2Own Automotive 2026 and succeeded in hacking a Grizzl-E electric vehicle charger. The event in Tokyo tested vulnerabilities across automotive-related systems. SK Shieldus said its domestic white-hat group EQST identified a security vulnerability in the Grizzl-E Smart 40A model. The company said security risks are rising as connectivity between vehicles and external infrastructure expands.
