XRPL AI payments top 1 million transactions as real-world use expands

The XRP ecosystem is expanding its use into AI payments, institutional infrastructure and on-chain lending despite macroeconomic uncertainty. Evernodes CEO Aashish Birla said AI agents processed close to 1 million payments on XRPL in about a month, citing t54ai on-chain data. He said DTCC included XRP in learning materials but it does not mean DTCC will accept it as collateral. RippleX confirmed tests for XLS-66 on-chain lending.

DTCC begins live securities tokenisation trading with 40 firms including JPMorgan

U.S. securities settlement group DTCC has started operating a securities tokenisation service in live markets, covering assets including Microsoft shares and U.S. Treasuries. DTCC plans a July pilot limited to about 1,000 instruments before expanding to full availability around October. The service, developed by its depository DTC, lets participants use tokenised assets for collateral transfers, repo transactions and stock trades, with settlement on either Hyperledger Besu or the Canton Network.

DTCC XRP listing rumor spreads after AI answer causes confusion

Claims that the U.S. Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation classified or listed XRP on its platform were found to be false. A screenshot circulating online came from an AI-generated response produced by the site’s search function, not from official DTCC policy or documents. XRPL validator Vet said the cited source did not mention XRP and warned repeated searches can prompt erroneous AI responses. A Coveo element suggested the DTCC site used Coveo’s AI search technology.
