Ethereum bull Arthur Hayes cuts losses on 2,364 ETH
Arthur Hayes sold 2,364.38 ether for 4.3 million USDC, locking in a loss of about $241,000, as the broader crypto market weakened. On-chain data showed he moved ether to Cumberland and Galaxy Digital over about two hours at an average sale price of $1,821. The sale followed purchases of 7,213 ether in mid-July. Hayes has recently shifted to a more defensive stance, citing the need to protect crypto assets.

An early bitcoin miner active from 2009 to 2010 transferred 2,650 BTC to institutional brokers FalconX and Cumberland, CoinPost reported. Onchain Lens said the address cluster dates back to the so-called Satoshi era. Blockchain data shows the timing, size and deposit flows, but not the final purpose or terms. Onchain Lens said the miner still holds 6,000 BTC, and it is unclear whether the funds were sold.
