Cross ENF launches remittance and payment service for foreigners
Fintech startup Cross ENF has launched a daily finance service for foreigners living in South Korea, supporting remittances, payments and public transport use. The company introduced the foreigners-only simple payment service CROSSPAY and the prepaid CROSSCARD. CROSSPAY allows users to top up in won and use it for overseas remittances and online and offline payments, with support in 12 languages including Korean. Two prepaid card types are offered, with no annual fee and up to 1 percent cashback.

Cross ENF, KB Kookmin Card cooperate on daily finance services for foreign residents
Fintech startup Cross ENF will work with KB Kookmin Card to build daily financial services aimed at improving financial access for foreigners living in South Korea. Cross ENF said on Aug. 11 it signed a partnership with KB Kookmin Card to lay the groundwork for such services. The two companies plan to expand access to tailored services, identify benefits for foreign residents and link digital-based daily finance infrastructure.

Cross ENF registers as issuer and manager of prepaid electronic payment instruments
Fintech startup Cross ENF has completed registration with South Korea\'s Financial Services Commission as an issuer and manager of prepaid electronic payment instruments. The company said the registration gives it electronic financial business operator status under the revised Electronic Financial Transactions Act, which strengthens user protection requirements including separate management of prepaid funds. Cross ENF plans to add top-up and payment functions to its overseas remittance service Cross and online commerce service Crossshop.
