Ethereum delays Hoodi testnet launch of \'Glamsterdam\' upgrade over security risks
Ethereum developers have delayed applying the Glamsterdam hard fork to the Hoodi testnet after concerns that some proposals could affect how existing smart contracts handle failed transactions. The Ethereum Foundation said it needs more time to check how the proposals interact with already deployed contracts, leaving the mainnet timeline uncertain. ChainSecurity warned that EIP-8037 and EIP-8038 could weaken defenses against insufficient gas griefing attacks.
