Galaxy says at least 15 attackers exploited Coldcard vulnerability
Galaxy Digital said it has confirmed at least 15 attackers exploited a vulnerability in the Coldcard hardware wallet. Its research head Alex Thorne said additional attackers were identified based on new victim reports after the incident, a pattern he said differed from centralized exchange hacks. Galaxy Research estimated losses from three confirmed attacks at $100 million, and said total losses could rise to about $130 million in bitcoin if a suspected fourth attack is included.
