Robinhood Chain memecoin investors post 63% losses, CashCat down 75%
More than 6 out of 10 investors in top memecoins traded on Robinhood Chain have posted losses, an analysis found. Bubblemaps said only 37% of 164,538 traders in the chain’s 50 most-traded tokens were profitable, while 63% were in the red. Trading surged after a 90-day gas-fee subsidy and a CashCat boom, but CashCat has fallen about 75% from its July 11 peak.

Robinhood Chain temporarily ranks second globally in DEX volume, driven by memecoin
Robinhood Chain briefly rose to second place globally in decentralised exchange (DEX) trading volume over the weekend, driven largely by memecoin activity. DefiLlama data showed the chain recorded about $878 million in DEX volume on July 12, temporarily surpassing Coinbase’s Base and Ethereum. Most of the volume came from CashCat, a memecoin named after a former mascot, which jumped more than 2,100 percent in its first week.

Spain bet pays off as Polymarket trader posts $9.9 million day profit
A Polymarket trader known as DEEDDIT drew attention after recovering a $10.8 million loss in two weeks, turning the account’s cumulative profit to more than $8 million. The rebound came after a $11.3 million wager that Spain would beat France in a 2026 FIFA World Cup semi-final. Spain won 2-0, generating a $9.9 million one-day profit. The report also cited large leveraged token and memecoin trades amid a crypto market rebound.
