Intel adopts Gemini Enterprise companywide to automate chip design
Intel is adopting Google Cloud Gemini Enterprise across the company to automate semiconductor design and internal work. The company plans to speed workflows across operations, engineering, supply chain and marketing, while shortening chip design cycles. Intel will focus on agent-based AI to automate complex multi-step tasks, streamline development pipelines and expand coding support and engineering automation. It will use Google Cloud C4 and N4 instances to run multiple high-performance computing simulations in parallel.

Intel, Google step up cooperation on AI, cloud infrastructure
Intel and Google have formalised a multi-year cooperation to build next-generation AI and cloud infrastructure, the companies said on Thursday. They will strengthen the roles of CPUs and application-specific integrated circuit-based infrastructure processing units as heterogeneous AI systems expand. The partnership also aims to improve performance, energy efficiency and total cost of ownership across Google’s global infrastructure over multiple generations of Xeon processors, and to expand joint development of ASIC-based IPUs.

Specialized unveils Vado 3 all-in-one e-bike with wireless charging and keyless lock
U.S. bicycle manufacturer Specialized has unveiled new urban e-bikes, the Vado 3 and Vado 3 EVO, upgrading its commuter line-up with a high-output motor system based on its Levo eMTB platform. The models use a Specialized 3.1 motor delivering up to 810W peak power and 105Nm torque and carry an 840Wh battery. Features include a MasterMind C4 touch display, Bluetooth connectivity, wireless phone charging, integrated lighting and a digital keyless wheel lock developed with ABUS.
