The Broadcast Media Communications Committee and the Digital Future Research Institute said they will hold a policy forum in Seoul on Sept. 29 on institutional improvements to foster a cooperative broadcasting market ecosystem. The forum will discuss improving the dispute mediation system to provide relief for broadcasting service users and legislative tasks to strengthen fairness in outsourced production transactions. Presentations will address expanding the scope of broadcast dispute mediation and legal reforms to regulate unfair practices between broadcasters and outsourced producers.
