Amazon halts \'Bluejay\' warehouse robot project months after launch
Amazon has quietly ended its Bluejay warehouse robot project about three months after unveiling it last October, Business Insider reported on Monday. Sources said Bluejay, a multi-robot arm system for delivery warehouses, was halted due to high costs, manufacturing complexity and implementation issues. Amazon said core technology from Bluejay will be used in other robotics work, and some will be integrated into a new system called Flex Cell.
