KT Cloud breaks ground on 50 MW Ansan AI data centre, targets 2029 completion
KT Cloud said on Wednesday it will break ground on its 50-megawatt Ansan AI Data Centre to expand AI infrastructure supply in the Seoul metropolitan area and meet demand for high-density AI servers. The company said the project is part of its plan to supply 1 gigawatt of AI data centre capacity by 2031. The facility will have a gross floor area of about 36,878 square metres and 2 basement floors and 9 above-ground floors, with completion targeted for 2029.
