Mobileye to acquire AI humanoid robot maker Mentee Robotics for $900 million
Mobileye will acquire AI humanoid robot company Mentee Robotics in a deal valued at $900 million, SiliconANGLE reported on Jan. 6. Mentee, founded in Israel in 2022, was co-founded by Mobileye founder Amnon Shashua, Mentee CEO and former Facebook AI Research director Lior Wolf, and machine learning researcher Shai Shalev-Shwartz. The startup is developing general-purpose humanoid robots for warehouses and homes and is working on the MenteeBot series.
