Sony Korea launches ECM-AX10 spatial audio microphone for smartphones
Sony Korea said on Thursday it will launch the ECM-AX10, a spatial audio microphone for smartphones that has received 3D audio technology Eclipsa Audio certification. The company said the device uses four omnidirectional microphone capsules to capture surrounding sound from multiple directions and reproduces direction, distance and ambience through Sony spatial audio processing. It supports Ambisonics, Binaural and Stereo recording modes and connects via USB-C. The price is 299,000 won.
