Investors shun AI SaaS startups lacking workflow depth
Investors are turning away from AI SaaS startups that offer thin workflow layers, generic horizontal tools, lightweight product management and superficial analytics, TechCrunch reported. F Prime investor Abdul Abdillrahman said vertical software without unique data protections lacks appeal. Igor Ryabenky of AltaIR Capital said UI and automation alone are not enough and that product depth and workflow ownership matter. Emergence Capital’s Jake Saper echoed that view.
