Clocus partners with global firm Straiker to target agentic AI security market

Clocus, a cloud and AI managed services company, said on Monday it has signed a strategic partnership with global agentic AI security firm Straiker. It said it will provide specialised services to address new security challenges that emerge as companies adopt AI agents. Clocus said Straiker offers a platform that identifies AI agents and related assets, validates potential vulnerabilities in advance, and detects and blocks threats during operations.

Codegate 2026 to open July 23 with human vs AI hacking showdown in focus

The Codegate Security Forum will hold Codegate 2026, an international hacking defence contest and global conference, on July 23-24 at COEX Grand Ballroom in Seoul. The event’s theme is “The Path Toward a Top 3 Global AI Power: Security”. A jointly developed “AI hacker” with KAIST will compete in the finals alongside human white hackers. The finals draw 3,333 participants from 88 countries, with total prize money of 71 million won.

KT launches personal data protection advisory committee, holds first meeting

KT has begun operating a newly created personal data protection advisory committee to prevent data leaks and strengthen protection of customer information. The company said the panel held its first regular meeting on July 16 at KT’s Pangyo building to discuss its operating plan and key agenda items. The committee reviewed measures to strengthen personal data protection, implement amendments to the Personal Information Protection Act, and upgrade leak-response systems.
