LG Innotek builds AI parts recommendation system, cuts quote time by more than 70 percent
LG Innotek said on Saturday it has built an AI system that compares parts specifications and prices to quickly identify optimal components for new products. The company integrated about 2 million internal and external parts data points and standardised different names, specifications and units to build an AI-ready database. It said the system provides a reference price by analysing purchase history and price trends, and has cut new-product quoting time by more than 70 percent.
