Hecto Financial has been named one of Asia’s top 30 fintech companies selected by the Asia Fintech Alliance (AFA), a network of fintech associations from 16 Asian countries. The company said it was picked as a top 30 firm in the AFA Awards 2026 and nominated for a Grand Award in the cross-border market category. It said it processes more than 1,200 trillion won in transactions annually and is expanding stablecoin-related business.

Crypto firms raise World Cup profile without top-tier FIFA sponsorship
Crypto companies have failed to secure top-tier official sponsorship at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but they are expanding their influence across the tournament through national team sponsorships, prediction markets and fan promotions, the report said. FIFA has named ADI PredictStreet as its first global prediction-market partner, while other platforms continue without FIFA rights. FIFA is also developing an Avalanche-based blockchain and has moved FIFA Collect to the new chain.
