[DigitalToday reporter Ji-young Lee] Woori Bank is joining hands with Mercedes-Benz official dealer HS Hyosung The Class to expand joint marketing for ultra-high-net-worth individuals. It plans to run invitation events and programmes that link financial asset management with premium mobility.
Woori Bank said on Wednesday it signed a strategic business agreement with HS Hyosung The Class for joint marketing to ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
Based on the agreement, the two companies will pursue invitation events and joint programmes combining finance and mobility for clients of Woori Bank's wealth management brand Two Chairs. They plan to expand touchpoints between their clients and provide asset management services alongside non-financial benefits.
A commemorative event was held at the Maybach Brand Center Seoul. It included a "car docent" programme in which a professional curator introduced the Maybach brand and vehicles, and a financial seminar led by a Woori Bank portfolio manager.
Professional racers, including athlete Eui-cheol Jeong (정의철), an ambassador for HS Hyosung The Class, provided one-on-one driving coaching for attending clients. Clients drove on public roads to experience the vehicles' ride comfort and driving performance.
Woori Bank plans to expand programmes linking not only wealth management consultations but also mobility and client interests such as culture and arts, and gastronomy through the collaboration.
Kim Sun (김선), head of Woori Bank's WM Group, said it was an example showing the competitiveness of Woori Bank WM in supporting clients' lifestyles beyond financial services. He said the bank would provide new experiences to clients by combining professional asset management with non-financial services.
