Naver Pay will support on-site payment fees for micro and small merchants using its offline integrated terminal, Npay Connect.

Naver Pay said on Tuesday it will refund on-site payment fees for Npay Money and Points transactions generated at Npay Connect merchants rated micro or small under National Tax Service standards from Aug. 3 through Dec. 31.

Eligible merchants can receive the support without a separate application process. Fees for payments made via QR, Samsung Pay and the face recognition payment service FaceSign using Npay Money and Points are eligible for refunds.

Refund amounts will be calculated monthly and paid on the 15th of the following month to BC Card settlement accounts. Details are available on the Naver Pay Center and Smart Place notices pages.

Npay Connect is an offline payment service that supports multiple payment methods on a single terminal. It lets customers use coupons issued by stores during the payment process and also provides a function that links to writing Naver reviews after payment.

It also has a function that allows the terminal to be used as a mini kiosk, which it described as supporting efficiency in store operations and digital transformation for small business owners.

A Naver Pay official said, "We will continue various win-win programmes so that small business owners can strengthen store competitiveness and feel the effects of business growth."
