AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said on July 28 it has been selected as a top-tier "platinum partner" in Samsung SDS' Samsung Cloud Platform (SCP) partner programme.

The company said MegazoneCloud is the only Samsung SDS SCP platinum partner. MegazoneCloud was upgraded to platinum partner within a year after obtaining the SCP "advanced partner" grade in August last year.

SCP partner grades are assigned after a comprehensive evaluation that includes the number of new contracts, business performance, the number of people who completed training courses and certification status.

MegazoneCloud said it met the requirements for the platinum grade by carrying out multiple SCP-based projects in the public sector while building business results in high-performance infrastructure areas including AI, high-performance computing (HPC) and GPU as a service (GPUaaS).

Min-taek Seo (서민택), a vice president at MegazoneCloud, said the selection reflects recognition of its experience in carrying out various SCP-based public projects and technical capabilities built in AI and GPU cloud. He said MegazoneCloud will establish itself as a key partner to deliver the secure and flexible AI and GPU infrastructure required by public institutions and companies in the era of sovereign AI, based on its multi-cloud capabilities spanning K-Cloud.
