Viva Republica, the operator of Toss, has received an international standard certification for a business continuity management system that can maintain and restore core services during crises such as failures or disasters.
Toss said on July 28 it has obtained ISO 22301 certification, the international standard for business continuity management systems.
The certification audit included a business impact analysis of how interruptions to core operations affect services, as well as checks of major risk factors, refinement of crisis response and recovery procedures and interviews with staff.
Toss plans to regularly review its business continuity management system and supplement crisis response procedures in line with changes in its organisation, operations, systems and external environment even after obtaining the certification.
A Toss official said, "It means we were able to confirm through an external audit that we are prepared to continue core services even in a crisis." The official added, "We will strengthen our preparedness so users can use services stably."
