Daol Savings Bank said on Thursday it signed a memorandum of understanding with The Plaza, operator of TPZ Golf Studio, to provide financial support for founders.

Under the agreement, Daol Savings Bank will provide tailored financial support for golf studio founders.

It plans to provide up to 100 million won in startup funding after a comprehensive assessment of prospective founders and store owners, including personal creditworthiness and business scale. The aim is to ease the funding burden, the biggest obstacle in the early stage of starting a business, and help operations settle in a stable way.

Park Beom-su, head of corporate finance division at Daol Savings Bank, said, "Through this agreement, we will strengthen ties with the golf franchise industry and expand financial support so founders can start their businesses in a more stable environment." He added, "We will continue to faithfully carry out the role of productive finance as a warm financial institution that grows together with small merchants and the self-employed."
