Naver Pay said on Tuesday it will fully cover in-person payment fees for micro and small merchants from Feb. 16 to Feb. 22, during the Lunar New Year holiday period.
Merchants that qualify as micro or small businesses will be included automatically without a separate application.
During the support period, in-person payment fees incurred on Npay QR payments or point and money payments made through Samsung Pay will be refunded in full.
A Naver Pay official said, "We hope this fee support helps micro and small business operators during the Lunar New Year holiday period," adding, "We plan to continue various forms of support for mutual growth with small merchants."
