Naver will hold its 'Lunar New Year+Sale' event on the Naver Plus Store app from Jan. 28 to Feb. 12, it said on Friday.

During the event, the app will issue first-come, first-served coupons daily at midnight. Shoppers will get 5 percent off purchases of 200,000 won or more, capped at 30,000 won. Naver Plus membership users will also receive 10 percent off purchases of 10,000 won or more, capped at 10,000 won.

The company will offer discounted items for holiday preparations, including Korean beef and meal kits, as well as popular gifts such as health supplements and home appliances for parents. Fresh gift sets from Kurly N Mart are available via dawn delivery, and membership users can receive free shipping on purchases of 20,000 won or more.

It will also operate a fast-delivery section featuring 'N Delivery' items, including delivery today, tomorrow, at dawn and on Sundays. It also strengthened tailored product lineups such as essentials for the trip home and items for people spending the holiday alone.

A Naver official said, "We combined membership benefits with fast delivery to help people prepare holiday gifts reasonably."
